Jane has made it onto the shortlist alongside 17 other entrepreneurs representing businesses, companies and organisations across the North West of England, earning a place in the Northern final of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. The winner of the North heats will go on to compete for the title of Entrepreneur of the Year 2014, as well as gaining the chance to represent the UK at a global awards ceremony in June 2015.

The awards are headed by accountants and business advisers Ernst and Young, and are considered to be the world’s most prestigious business award being held in more than 145 cities and more than 60 countries worldwide. The programme provides an opportunity for the country’s leading entrepreneurs to showcase their talents and celebrate success across their organisation.

Robert Crooks, North West Entrepreneur Of The Year Leader at EY, said:

“Our 2014 North West finalists have delivered significant growth by developing strong, differentiated propositions. Their business achievements are all the more impressive having been conceived and largely delivered during some of the most challenging economic conditions UK companies have ever faced.

“Product innovation, exporting, customer engagement and investment in technology are just some of the ways these outstanding businesses have driven expansion and are positioning themselves for further accelerated growth in the recovery.”

Jane is one of three representatives from Merseyside and the only Liverpool-based shortlisted candidate in an impressive line-up of diverse finalists. The North of England final will be held on June 24th at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester. Best of luck to everyone involved!
